About us

Education Connects: Comprehensive Educational Initiatives in the Middle East

SIS Middle East brings the German dual education system to Egypt, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. Our certified programs prepare young people optimally for the job market and strengthen the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy. Additionally, we operate a language center, participate in EU/Erasmus projects, and are part of the Saxony Egypt University.

SIS Middle East was established in 2017 as a subsidiary of Saxony International School GmbH to sustainably develop vocational education in Egypt. Our focus is on introducing the German dual training system, which combines theoretical instruction with practical training. Together with German experts and partners, we adapt curricula to meet the needs of the Egyptian market while maintaining high educational standards.

Beyond vocational education, SIS Middle East has expanded its scope to include a dedicated language center, participation in EU/Erasmus projects, and active involvement in the Saxony Egypt University. These initiatives allow us to provide a holistic educational experience and foster international collaboration.

Our degrees are certified by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, providing graduates with an internationally recognized qualification. A dedicated team of young engineers and specialists is trained by experienced German experts to independently take on responsibilities and further develop the education system in the future.

Since the cooperation with the GB Foundation in managing the first vocational school in September 2017, we have continuously expanded. In 2018, we started operating in two additional vocational schools in Alexandria and Kafr El Zayyat. We are currently working on further pioneering projects, including schools in 6th of October City and 15th of May City.

Since 2021, we have been managing SIS Cairo West in cooperation with our partner company, Saxony International School. Since then, we have developed many more projects, which you can find here.

Our goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy through education and knowledge transfer from Germany.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

We firmly believe that every student has the right to quality education and must be nurtured, strengthened, and supported in the spirit of holistic learning.

Our approach integrates learning with mind, heart, and hands, fostering a sense of responsibility for oneself and others. We strive to empower individuals to advocate for social justice, work with integrity, and act independently in our society.

The foundation of our actions is built on mutual respect, openness, self-reflection, teamwork, and the development of empathy, tolerance, and social values. Global thinking and an awareness of sustainability guide our mission, ensuring that our educational efforts contribute to a responsible and forward-thinking future.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy through education and the transfer of knowledge from Germany.

Openness and tolerance, values and norms, a solid general education, foreign language skills, and, last but not least, media and economic competence—these are not just empty words for us in times of growing globalization. For us, holistic education means learning with mind, hand, and heart. We aim to empower young people to navigate and thrive in an ever-growing and constantly changing world.

The vocational schools led by SIS Middle East are places where top-tier knowledge is imparted. This is achieved through small class sizes and individualized support. Team spirit and a positive learning environment contribute to sustainable educational success. The continuous professional development of our teachers and trainers in their respective fields, as well as in methodological didactics, ensures the high quality of education in our vocational schools.
