GB Academy was opened in 2011 by Egypt's leading automotive group GB Auto with the aim of providing training courses for more than 10,000 of the group's employees. These training courses include technical training in automotive engineering, logistics, sales, communication skills and management training.

Within the last 8 years, GB Academy has developed into an integrated training centre, not only for GB Auto employees, but also for all job seekers, university students and vocational trainees.

In 2017, GB Academy started a partnership with SIS Middle East. The aim was for SIS to manage the Academy and also to develop a worldwide first class curriculum.

Today, GB Academy runs more than 100 training courses a month and offers a large portfolio of diverse courses ranging from automotive fundamentals, brand-specific technical training, product launches and changes, to business skills and leadership training.

By sharing many years of experience in the field of training, SIS' collaboration with GB Academy resulted in the highest standards of professional training and career development programmes. This has made it possible to offer the Academy's clients a high-quality training experience and the opportunity to embark on a successful career path in the automotive industry and beyond.
